December has arrived, and like many, I'm left wondering where the year went and how I’ve managed to fit so much into the past 12 months—it’s been a whirlwind!
This year has been a nonstop journey of hard work, with trade shows, expos, travel, and countless adventures that have kept me on my toes.
Now, it’s time to reflect on all that’s happened and eagerly look forward to a well-deserved Christmas break.

The Highlight
At the beginning of the year, we had the amazing opportunity to bring our Topargee Water Tank Gauges to North America, launching at three expos across Canada and the USA.
Seeing our hard work resonate with new customers was incredibly rewarding, and the positive feedback we received has motivated us to keep expanding our market in both countries.
But it wasn’t all business! During brief moments of downtime, we made the most of each city. We caught an ice hockey game in Canada, enjoyed a basketball game in the States, and the ladies even scored tickets to see Madonna live in Seattle! While they enjoyed the concert, I had the chance to explore the city at night, camera in hand, indulging one of my favourite passions.

The Adventure
After an unforgettable trip to North America, we returned to Australia and quickly began planning our next adventure—this time, the Topargee team was off to Samoa! Our goal was to explore the stunning island of Savai’i over five days, covering around 200 kms. And when I say "explore," I mean cycle—although someone may have forgotten to arrange e-bikes and neglected to mention the numerous (and seriously steep) hills! Let's just say I quickly discovered I am not exactly cycle fit. Thankfully, we had a support van to help us along the way!
Samoa was nothing short of incredible. From its pristine white sandy beaches to swimming with turtles, sleeping in traditional fale, and meeting the amazing locals who warmly shared their culture, every moment was unforgettable. We also got to put our Topargee Adventure Range to the test—our Swammock was perfect for lounging, and our range of lights proved essential. We even threw in a few extra creature comforts to make the experience all the more enjoyable!
Expo’s, Expo’s and More Expo’s
Of course, it hasn’t been all fun and adventure for the Topargee team! Between travels, we've exhibited at several expos across SE QLD and NSW, connecting with new and returning customers along the way.
In April, we kicked off at the Caravan Camping Holiday Supershow in Rosehill, followed by our debut at the Sydney 4x4 Show, where we launched our Four Seasons Hypercube Tent—a major hit! (Make sure to check it out online if you haven’t already.) From there, we continued on to the Newcastle Outdoor Adventure & Lifestyle Expo, the Eastern Creek 4x4 Show, and rounded off the year at the Cleveland Caravan, Camping, Boating & 4x4 Expo in Brisbane.
Anything Else to Report on!
Oh yes…… I managed to sneak away for a few well-deserved long weekends of camping, hiking, and photography—a little “me, myself, and I” time.
Stanthorpe is my go-to escape. There’s nothing like sleeping under the stars in the Topargee Swammock, cooking on the Topargee BBQ Grill, and fully immersing in nature.
Then, there was Magnetic Island—a place everyone should experience. With its breathtaking views, incredible wildlife, and crystal-clear winter skies, it was absolute photography heaven for a weekend getaway.
I wrapped up my camping trips this year with a quick escape to Swan Gully Park in Beaudesert. Close to home, it was the perfect spot for some winter photography and quiet time before the lead up to the Busy Xmas period. I loved using the Topargee Ultralight Stretcher Tent and Self-Inflatable Mattress—lightweight, easy to set up, and super comfortable for a good night’s sleep.
